#QueerCrushTuesday: Queer Fashion Week Pics
As I took in all of the gorgeous, diverse bodies at Queer Fashion Week in Oakland recently — and with all of the awesome love for #WCW and #MCM on social media — I realized something was missing.
Where’s our Queer Crush Day?
Ladies, gentlemen and all who break the binary, patriarchy and stuffy ol’ boundaries of gender, it brings me great joy to present #QUEERCRUSHTUESDAY, starting today on the Wear Your Voice Instagram.
Independent designers from all over the US came to Oakland to celebrate Queer Fashion Week, which featured panel discussions, classes, fashion shows and an all-out celebration of queer life.
The best thing about Queer Fashion Week is the representation: every size, shape, gender identity, age and ability is welcome and celebrated through the models and designs.
Leave the quiet, polite clapping to other fashion weeks; at Queer Fashion Week, we scream, we cheer.
Queer Fashion Week isn’t just about the fashion — it’s about the statement, the visibility, the celebration, the subversion.

Who would you choose? Send us your queer crush of the week using #QUEERCRUSHTUESDAY with a great caption to go with it, and you may just see your post featured on our Instagram — because love is meant to be shared.
Every single dollar matters to us—especially now when media is under constant threat. Your support is essential and your generosity is why Wear Your Voice keeps going! You are a part of the resistance that is needed—uplifting Black and brown feminists through your pledges is the direct community support that allows us to make more space for marginalized voices. For as little as $1 every month you can be a part of this journey with us. This platform is our way of making necessary and positive change, and together we can keep growing.
