Starting from a young age, we are indoctrinated with the idea that a given piece of clothing is either for men or for women. But what happens when you identify as neither? An entire world of style, not limited by a strict binary, opens up.
We often talk about how fashion rules are made to be broken, but many of us stick pretty closely to society’s gender roles (and corresponding dress codes). These Instagram personalities have started breaking fashion’s rules by rejecting those gendered dress codes.
While we cannot make assumptions about their personal gender and sexual identities, these incredible fashionistas are blurring the line and queering fashion, one outfit at a time.
