There is an amazing thing that happens every year in the Bay Area.

No, not SF Beer Week.  Though, I’ve been known to throw one or two back in my day.  The amazing thing that happens every year in the Bay Area is SF Sketchfest, a GIANT comedy festival happening in your very own backyard!  I try and get to as many shows as I can every year without breaking my bank (I would love to go to ALL of the shows though).  My process of elimination is to pick out a few comedians who I would love to see and make sure I see them at least once.  Group shows such as Put Your Hands Together, Thrilling Adventure Hour, and The Meltdown are always good bets because they feature big ensembles.

Thrilling Adventure Hour is one of my favorite shows (it’s also a podcast!) because it usually always includes Paul F. Tompkins – who I think is hands down, one of the funniest humans alive (my cats beat him in the feline category).  This year was no exception!  He was also joined by the amazing John Hodgman, Paget Brewster, Scott Adsit (from 30 Rock), Melanie Lynskey (from Over The Garden Wall), and Scott Aukerman.  So NEXT January you absolutely must make it to SF Sketchfest – at least once – if only just to see Princess

Costume For The Day (to go see Thrilling Adventure Hour):

– Black stretch lace long-sleeved top worn under

– my Nothing Obvious tunic dress (mentioned before on Wear Your Voice)

– Black transparent nylon leggings by American Apparel

– Suede Moccasins

– Opal stud earrings

– Black lace, beaded moth hair fascinator

…and olive grey Hunter rain boots cause it was rainy ^_^

Love you, mean it
