Kanye West recently outdid his wife by breaking the internet with his latest music video, ‘Famous’. The video, which exclusively released on Tidal after originally premiering Friday night in Los Angeles was West’s attempt to highlight “the pervasive nature of paparazzi culture,” according to Ashleigh Shackelford in an article written for Wear Your Voice.

Throughout the video, close-ups of wax figurines of 12 famous people are sprawled out next to one another naked on a bed, taking a riff from American painter Vincent Desiderio, of those featured were Rihanna, Chris Brown, Caitlyn Jenner, Taylor Swift Bill Cosby and his former ex Amber Rose.

No stranger to criticism, West quickly received backlash from Twittersville for depicting Rihanna next to her former abuser Chris Brown, while Caitlyn Jenner, trans woman laid next to accused rapist Bill Cosby. In February, West was called out for being a rape apologist for showing support for Cosby by proclaiming his innocence via Twitter.

West also publicly slut-shamed Amber Rose numerous times post break-up, once saying his now wife Kim Kardashian-West wouldn’t touch him after dating Rose until he took “30 showers“, and credits himself for Taylor Swift’s success, as referenced in Famous:

“I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous.”

Boy, bye
