ModCloth’s Fit Shop is located @ 222 Grant Avenue

Northern Cali Fashionistas, rejoice! After hitting Los Angeles, ModCloth, the online shopping haven for all things fashionably adorable and chic, opened a pop-up shop in San Francisco last Thursday! But act fast because it’s only going to be in San Francisco until August 17.

While their entire catalog isn’t readily available at their Fit Shop, there’s still a plethora of housewares, accessories, shoes, and cute frocks to choose from, including items from their recently launched namesake label. And FYI: the skirts and dresses from the ModCloth label have something really important: pockets!

SO. MUCH. YAAASSS.

The shopping experience at the Fit Shop is such a treat, especially if you’re just as obsessed with ModCloth as I am! Rather than picking up all the clothes that you’d like to try on and lugging them around the store, every piece of clothing is assigned a number and shoppers are given a little clipboard and pencil to write down the item number they’d like to try on and what size(s) they wish to try them on in. Then a super friendly Mod Stylist will whisk you away to a fitting room and gather all your items for you.

Pro-tip: I found that it was really helpful to reserve a fitting room via their website with the email address associated with your ModCloth account because it got crazy busy in there! Reserving a room also guarantees that you’ll get helped by a Mod Stylist. My stylist, Elika, made me feel like a friggin’ V.I.P. and was the sweetest thing!

With every purchase, shoppers get a fun tote bag filled with a few goodies, including mascara from Benefit, and a $10 giftcard to Sugarfina. I highly recommend the champagne gummy bears and fuji apple caramels.

Here are some of the fab accessories you can take home, and my Mod Stylist Elika!

SO. MANY. CUTE. THINGS.

If you plan to buy anything, only accessories, t-shirts, and vintage items are readily available to take home. With all the other clothing items, they’re shipped right to your house just like any regular ModCloth purchase you’d make online. You still even get free shipping for purchases over $50, and purchases over $150 get upgraded to free 2-day shipping. It’s really only a minor bummer to not be able to take new clothes home (I am DYING to get my two skirts in the mail!), because the fact that you can try on clothes and shoes before ordering them makes life SO MUCH easier! I tend to be in between sizes, so online shopping can sometimes be frustrating. Having items readily available to try on as opposed to scrolling through my laptop or the ModCloth app on my phone and guesstimating what size would fit me made shopping much more fun.

Take pics around the store and use #ModClothFitShop on Instagram for a chance to win a $100 gift card!

I’d also like to mention that ModCloth has something for every body – they carry sizes ranging from xs to 4x. ModCloth is one of my favorite places to shop because of the fact that they cater to all body types, and even use models in various shapes and sizes on their website to show that any woman can look fantastically awesome in their clothes.

So I implore you to get your bum on over to the Fit Shop if you happen to live nearby for an incredibly fun shopping experience! I promise that you’re bound to find something that will make you feel fabulous. 🙂
