The coolest thing about Skincare by Feleciai, you can never know. This shit’s top secret. Suffice it to say, founder and Bay Area native Feleciai Favroth uses top quality Shea butter for her line from a third world country and supports women from a local village there at the same time.

Let’s just get right to talkin’ about the incredible products that Feleciai is creating starting with her best seller, the Replenishing Cream. This stuff is no joke. You can choose the unscented or the Lavender scented varieties (you guys know I chose the Lavender with nooo hesitation). When I opened the little jar, which is beautifully packaged like all of her products, it looked like a thick cream that could potentially be problematic for my oily skin. But, when I dipped my finger into the cream…guys, if I ever touch a cloud, I imagine it’s going to feel something like that. It is so light, but just a little dab will seriously hydrate your entire face. If any of you ladies or gents use an intense acne cream that dries the hell out of your skin, this will take care of that completely. Take it from me.

While, I do love the Replenishing Cream, my favorite product had to be the Brown Sugar Lemon Scrub. And I’m not a sugar/body/whatever scrub person normally. I hate the layer of oil that most scrubs have because it inevitably touches my hair and face and then for the rest of the day I look like an oily teenage mess. That being said, Feleciai’s Brown Sugar Lemon Scrub doesn’t have that oily layer (that I learned will go rancid WHICH IS NASTY). Rather, the brown sugar is moistened by oil to bind it together. When you rub it on your skin, it creates a little lather, which I was not expecting but loved. And the smell. OH LOOORD THE SMELL. So delicious. Smells as good if not better than the Lemon Brown Sugar Scrub that Fresh makes and it’s waaay less expensive.

I can’t keep going forward without giving some love to the beautifully marbled soaps that Feleciai makes in the most soothing scents. Feleciai began making soaps back in 2007 and her process was “a lot of trial and error”. But, now her soaps are also some of her best selling products! And it is not difficult to figure out why. Obviously they’re gorgeous and would look great in a soap dish by the sink. But, because they have beneficial essential oils, don’t get all slimy from water and therefore last forever…you might want to consider keeping ‘em in the shower. The soaps come in a huge variety of scents, but I bet you’ll be super surprised which one I went with. Uh…I’m painfully predictable.

It looks so much like pretty fudge, or something, that I want to eat it knowing fully well that it will end tragedy.

After I took my very pampered shower complete with the Brown Sugar Lemon Scrub and fancy Lavender soap, I used Feleciai’s Lavender (omg, Laura, get a new thing) Shea Butter Cream all over. Skin? QUENCHED. My skin was so soft. But, not that overly lotionized (Merriam-Webster, take a look at that word) feeling I get after using heavy body creams. Just smooth and way less scaly. And the scents aren’t super girly, so the Shea Body Cream is guy friendly as well wink wink, duuudes.

And you know this lip balm snob just had to try Feleciai’s lip balm! The lip balm itself is amazing. It goes on really smooth and stays on your lips for a good long time. The scents are the part I loved the most, though. I tested out the Doublemint, Coconut, and Pink Lemonade. THE PINK LEMONADE IS THE BOMB DOT COM. IT EVEN TASTES LIKE PINK LEMONADE. HOW THE HELL DOES SHE DO THAT. I loved the minty tingle of the Doublemint and the comforting smell of the Coconut, but I was kind of out-of-my-mind about the Pink Lemonade…if you couldn’t tell…Skincare by Feleciai Lip Balm

According to the founder herself, Skincare by Feleciai is an “ever evolving” brand. She listens to what her customers want and is constantly creating and testing new products to bring to them using only top quality ingredients. Currently, she’s working on a new face oil and perfecting an eczema cream (that really works and WYV founder Ravneet will attest to that). Feleciai came from the world of corporate America, said no no nooo, then came to the world of skincare. Myself and many of her faithful customers are so thankful for that.
