EYELINER – The perfect finish!

Nothing completes a beautiful eye makeup look better than eyeliner. Whether it’s done with a bold wing, and dramatic, or tightlined for a more natural look, it makes for the perfect finish. The most common forms of eyeliner are pencil, liquid and gel. I happen to use them all because they each have special qualities. Liquid liner I like to use for a defined and intense look, and gel liner is easy to control. For a natural look I use an eyeliner pencil, smudged just a little to give the illusion of fuller lashes.

Selecting an eyeliner can be tricky. I recommend testing a few at a cosmetic counter before purchasing for full satisfaction. Look for features such as “smudge proof”or “water proof” to ensure long wear ability, and try an ultra fine brush when using liquid or gel liner for precision.

The colors are certainly fun to experiment with. Although the bold black color is more often used, eyeliners come in many shades like charcoal gray, plum, navy blue, teal and metallic colors too. Extravagant or simple, this is a guaranteed way to balance your look, and below are a few of my personal favorites with bargain prices.
