Hello, I’m here to ask if you’ve let Burt’s Bees into your heart. If not, now is the time to be saved. I’m speaking specifically of Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmers. Sometimes lipstick can feel a little daunting and can feel a little high maintenance. And drying. Sometimes. Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmers are highly pigmented tinted lip balms! So you get the lipstick look with the lip balm feel. Plus that tingly minty feeling that you love from Burt’s Bee’s lip products.

Plum – Not for the faint of heart. But, a great intro to rocking the deep burgundy lip. Oh, what’s that? You’ve always wanted to rock the deep burgundy lip but were too scared? Don’t be scared, let Burt’s Bees hold your hand and tell you that you’re strong and beautiful.

Fig – I love this one because it’s just slightly darker than my natural lip color. It enhances without looking unnatural. So, like, on a day when you’re sick as a dog, but need to not look dead when picking up more salteens n’ Coke (or Ginger Ale, whatever, I don’t know your life) at Safeway, this li’l guy is gonna be your best friend.

Raisin – This is actually the picture perfect berry cherry shade. I love it. It’s super pigmented and looks beautiful on so many skin tones. Hail to the berry (which is in almost always in style, btw). Wait. Brb. All this talk about berries has got me jonesin’ for a bigass bowl of Cap’n Crunch Berries.

…okay, I’m back. My mouth is a little cut up (thanks, Cap’n Crunch, you devil), but it was totally worth it. Alright…where was I…

Nutmeg – Oh. Em. Gee. Shut up. WHAT A PERFECT NUDE. AmIrIgHt, LaDiEzZz?! And, in the right light, it has a beautiful bronzey shimmer.

Cherry – This one has pretty mellow pigment. I had to layer it a lot to get that amount of color on my lips. But, one swipe on the lips with give a nice and beautifully natural tint.

Peony – My favorite shade! I love this one. It’s such a lovely petal pink while and kind of a nude at the same time. Plus, because of how mellow it is, I don’t need to reapply with a mirror! I just put it on like lip balm! A low maintenance and beautiful color? Yes, please. Sign me up. Or…just buy it at CVS or Whole Foods or Target or whatever for $10.
